Lunar Eclipse December 10, 2011 |
During totality, the moon was hidden by clouds, and would also probably been almost impossible to spot in the relatively ligt sky. At 16:13 we saw the first glimpse of the partly eclipsed moon through the clouds. 16 minutes after end of totality. |
The picture is taken from Rong in Øygarden outside Bergen at 16:13 local time. |

Weather conditions during thew early phases of the eclpse. This picture was taken only 3 minutes before the clouds allowed us the first glimpse of the moon. We had some rain showers, northernly wind and a temperature of around +5 degrees. So all in all we were lucky to see quite a lot of the eclipse. |
